The news we all have been waiting for about Disney Cruise Lines’ newest ship, Disney Destiny, is here!
New Heroes and Villains-Themed Ship
The Disney Destiny, Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, will launch in late 2025 from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale. The ship will feature themes inspired by Disney, Pixar, and Marvel characters, offering unique experiences and entertainment for guests.
Pride Lands Dining Experience!
A highlight will be “Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King,” a dining experience celebrating the iconic music from “The Lion King.” The venue will feature savanna-inspired decor, live performances of classic songs like “Circle of Life” and “Hakuna Matata,” and a dynamic setting that changes from sunrise to sunset.
Edna Á La Mode Sweets
Inspired by Edna Mode from “The Incredibles,” this unique confectionary will offer handmade gelato, ice cream, cookies, and candies. The lab-themed decor will include sewing equipment repurposed as sweet-making mechanisms, creating a fun and immersive experience.

Heroic Cafés Two walk-up cafés, Café Megara and Café Merida, will serve a variety of beverages and snacks. Café Megara, inspired by “Hercules,” will feature Greco-Roman decor, while Café Merida, inspired by “Brave,” will showcase a Celtic design with elements from the Scottish Highlands.
Luxurious Staterooms and Suites
The Disney Destiny will offer staterooms with custom artwork depicting Disney heroes’ epic journeys. Concierge guests will enjoy premium service, exclusive areas, and lavishly appointed suites inspired by “Fantasia” and “The Incredibles.” Four royal suites will celebrate the heroic themes of “Hercules” and “The Incredibles.”
A Ship Destined for Greatness
At 144,000 gross tons and powered by liquefied natural gas, the Disney Destiny is part of Disney Cruise Line’s fleet expansion. The fleet includes the Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, Disney Adventure, and a new island destination in The Bahamas, Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
