Choose your main reason for going before buying a ticket: holiday shows, unusual character photos, the atmosphere or attractions. A plan built around two or three priorities is easier to enjoy than a schedule that tries to cover everything.
What time can you enter Jollywood Nights?
For the 2026–2027 season, Disney lists entry from 5:30 p.m., with the event running 7:30 p.m.–12:30 a.m. on selected nights November 7, 2026–January 5, 2027. This is a separately ticketed event at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Use the arrival window to eat, take a restroom break and read the evening’s guide. Do not rely on the old 6 p.m. entry time or assume Fantasmic! always starts at 6:30 p.m. Check the schedule for your specific date.
A practical Jollywood Nights evening plan
Start with your most important experience
At party start, check the wait or next performance for your top priority. If that line is longer than you want to spend, switch to a nearby alternative. A character meeting is not guaranteed simply because the character appears in promotional material.
Build around one or two shows
Check that night’s times before choosing your route. Glisten! takes place in front of the Chinese Theater; Disney Holidays in Hollywood is at Theater of the Stars. They are different venues, so leave time to walk between them. Our earlier article incorrectly placed both at Theater of the Stars.
Group nearby stops between performances
Pair a show with a nearby photo opportunity or snack rather than crossing the whole park for each stop. Leave a buffer for queues and unexpected delays. For Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!, choose a viewing area with the Chinese Theater façade in sight if the projections matter to you.
Choose attractions by current wait and interest
A limited-capacity event can still have queues or temporary closures. Check the available attractions and posted waits instead of assuming every ride will be a walk-on. Do not spend the whole party riding attractions if the special entertainment was your reason for purchasing the ticket.
Use the final part of the evening for a missed priority
Revisit your list and your group’s energy level. A final photograph, show or relaxed walk may be more enjoyable than racing to the opposite side of the park. Some queues may stop accepting guests before you expect, so ask rather than waiting until the last moment.
Should you book dining during Jollywood Nights?
Eat a full meal before the party if you prefer to spend event time on entertainment. If dining and music are the attraction for you, Jazzy Holidays at The Hollywood Brown Derby may fit your priorities; Disney recommends advance reservations because space is limited. Food and drinks cost extra.

Are PhotoPass downloads included?
Disney’s current event terms include digital PhotoPass photos and videos captured during Jollywood Nights. Link them to your Disney account and download them within 45 days of capture. This does not make all photos from the rest of your vacation included.
What should first-time visitors prepare?
- Choose comfortable footwear even if you dress up for the theme.
- Check your return transportation before the late finish.
- Plan a rest beforehand if your group needs one.
- Choose what to skip as well as what to see.
