Additionally, new details were revealed about the Disney Treasure, which is set to start sailing later this year. Guests onboard will be treated to the debut of “Disney The Tale of Moana.” A stunning stage production featuring a giant 15-foot-tall puppet of Te Kā, the largest ever produced for a Disney Cruise Line show. Josh D’Amaro described the puppet as “stunning” and a must-see guest experience.
Transforming The Walt Disney Theatre in “How Far I’ll Go”
In this memorable scene, the Walt Disney Theatre transforms from the island of Motunui to the vast open ocean. This change marks the start of Moana’s long-awaited adventure. Twinkling stars appear above as Moana begins her journey. A giant, glowing manta ray soars over the audience. The manta ray, representing the spirit of Gramma Tala, guides Moana as she finds the courage to save her people.
