Scat Cat Lounge: “The Aristocrat”-Themed Piano Bar and Lounge on the Disney Treasure
Disney Cruise Line will launch its sixth Disney Treasure ship from Port Canaveral on its exciting Maiden Voyage this December. Designed to capture the true spirit of adventure, the Disney Treasure brings beloved Disney stories to life at sea. Guests will enter immersive worlds inspired by Moana, The Haunted Mansion, Coco, Guardians of the Galaxy, and many more Disney favorites.
Ahead of its inaugural sailing, Disney Cruise Line has already shared exciting details about the ship’s experiences. And just when fans thought they had seen it all, Disney revealed even more magic. One of the newest surprises is the debut of the Scat Cat Lounge, the first-ever piano bar themed after Disney’s classic 1970s animated film, The Aristocats. This charming venue promises to blend Disney nostalgia with live music, creating a one-of-a-kind atmosphere onboard the Disney Treasure.
Scat Cat Lounge: A Jazz-Inspired Escape on the Disney Treasure
Just steps from the Grand Hall on the Disney Treasure, the Scat Cat Lounge offers an adults-only retreat inspired by Disney’s The Aristocats. This vintage-style jazz club features a baby grand piano and playful nods to the film’s beloved feline characters, creating a relaxing spot for live music and Disney magic at sea.

Scat Cat’s Horn – This unique theming begins before walking through the door as guests behold the sculpted door handle that resembles Scat Cat’s signature instrument.
The Cats Go Marching—All cat characters from the animated film can be spotted as silhouettes parading into the venue, beckoning guests to enjoy live entertainment and cocktails inside.
A Familiar-Looking Carpet – True fans of The Aristocats might notice similarities between the carpet design in the lounge and the lavish French-style rugs displayed throughout Madame Adelaide Bonfamille’s Parisian home in the movie.
Caution – Wet Paint – Straight out of the film, guests will see paint-covered paw prints artfully adorning the polished piano thanks to the orange-furred kitten, Toulouse.
An Ode to Music – One of the standout features inside the Scat Cat Lounge sits right behind the piano. A bold black-and-white striped wall. Designed to look like piano keys, it creates a striking backdrop. On the wall, you will see a glowing neon sign displaying the famous lyrics, “Ev’rybody Wants to Be a Cat,”. A direct nod to the catchy song from Disney’s The Aristocats. This fun and vibrant display celebrates the heart of the lounge music, charm, and Disney nostalgia.
Instead of Hidden Mickeys, guests will enjoy finding hidden depictions of Roquefort. The mouse friend of the Duchess and her kittens, as they sip and indulge in the jazzy vibes.

When you visit Scat Cat Lounge, don’t miss the special poster hanging just outside. It features a lively collage of cats playing instruments—each one drawn to honor the real-life pets of Disney Imagineers. These beloved furry friends inspired the creative spirit behind the Scat Cat Lounge, blending Disney magic with heartfelt tributes.

Inspired by Agrabah – Due to its proximity to the Grand Hall, Scat Cat Lounge will adopt a similar color palette to the Middle Eastern decor outside for a seamless transition from one storyline to another. Imagineers artfully blended the central architecture inspired by Agrabah from Aladdin to the swanky, Parisian-inspired bar.
